At RV Geek, we believe you deserve better than vague estimates and surprise bills. That’s why we’ve created one of the clearest, most upfront pricing policies in the RV service industry. No hidden fees, no bait-and-switch, no “we’ll figure it out when we get there.” We treat every customer with professionalism, respect, and kindness and strive for complete transparency — because when you know exactly what to expect, you can relax and enjoy the journey again. Fees and Charges
At RV Geek, we believe in complete transparency — no hidden fees, no surprises. We always discuss pricing with you during our free phone consultation before any work begins if you wish.
1. Diagnostic Fee
$279.00 (non-refundable) This flat fee covers:- Travel to your location
- Thorough on-site system diagnostics
- Detailed discussion of repair options
- Honest cost-effectiveness evaluation
- Some appliances, such as Furnaces and some refrigerators, are diagnosed at an hourly rate due to accessibility concerns.
2. Labor Rates
- Additional labor is billed at our standard hourly rate (call us for the current rate).
3. Parts
- We use only high-quality, reliable parts.
- All parts are priced fairly.
- Special-order parts require full payment upfront and are non-refundable. Commonly used parts (Eg. AC Capacitors and Sail Switches) not in stock do not require deposits.
4. Return Trips & Installation
If we order parts for your repair, we’ll provide an estimate that includes any return-trip labor and installation charges.
If your location changes after the estimate is written, we may need to adjust travel costs accordingly.
5. Warranty
- 30-day labor warranty on all repairs we perform.
- Parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty.
- Warranty service is available within our standard service area (1-hour drive from Greenfield, IN).
6. Extended Travel
For locations beyond our standard approximate 1-hour service area, we offer extended travel fees start at approximately $2 per mile — call us for an estimate and availability.

As with all of our work, our team will come to you. There is no need to transport your camper or RV to a facility, leave it for days or weeks, only to have to go pick it up again. Whether it is in your driveway, a camp-site, or in storage, we will do our best to accommodate your needs, schedule, and location.
