    Great fix for a broken valve, but…. Great fix for a broken black tank valve. But, as others have stated, it comes off pretty easy. Just taking off the cap will turn the valve enough to come off. You must be very careful taking off the cap, and the hose. I have a broken black valve, in the open position, so if the valve came off during dumping, I will be cleaning up for quite a while. I decided to make sure it will not come off until I said so. Look at the pictures to see the fix. The plastic nubs are on the trailer side,…

    A worthwhile RV upgrade! I too suffered from “cap dump” which is what happens when taking off the sewer dump cap to prepare for dumping the tanks and ‘stuff’ has leaked down to the cap and gets spilled all over when you remove the cap!I had seen this add on waste valve in a post from “Love Your RV” and knew I needed one also. I feel this to be an easy fix for the problem and an extra layer of defense against cap dump!I mounted the unit on the dump port with the pull handle out of the way…
