    You get what you paid for… This device suffers from the lack of basic features than can be found on just about any electronic ever made in the history of mankind. There is absolutely no I/O on this device for which to determine if the device is working in any capacity. There’s no indicator light tell if the battery is charging, there is no buttons to even reset the device and by default it is set to wake up once every 24 hours, transmit info, receive any updates and go back to sleep.     So far I’ve experienced gaps in real-time position reports if device is in center console or trunk. Sometimes it works. The device must be able to “see” several of the GPS satellites to get an accurate position fix. If a GPS fix cannot be obtained, the device must be able to communicate with cell towers to triangulate its (less accurate) position. Furthermore, it has to be able to send the position fix, time, etc., to the company’s servers so you can monitor the device’s position in real time on its web application.
