Bluetooth Audio Streaming

Bluetooth technology is a short-range radio technology that was developed to provide wireless audio and data transmission. Two Bluetooth-enabled devices (like a mobile phone and a car) can be paired so that they establish a communication link when they come within range of each other. Depending on the device, the range can be anywhere from 3 to 300 feet. The P9692B supports A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). A2DP is a Bluetooth profile that allows for the wireless transmission of stereo audio from an A2DP source (typically a phone or computer) to an A2DP receiver (a set of Bluetooth headphones or stereo system).

There is flip side to the Bluetooth Audio Streaming. With this function you are able to answer you phone with just one press of a button. Compatible With Audio Output of iPod / iPhone, Smartphones and MP3 Players

Another great feature that comes in really handy is that little hole in the front of your unit that says “AUX”. What this means is that if you can connect a device that has an Auxiliary output, such as your iPhone/iPod, smartphone and MP3 players straight into the Auxiliary input of your head unit. So basically a cable that has (2) 3.5mm audio (male) plugs. Important: Please beware that this feature is not the same as the “Full iPod Control”. This feature will only allow you to control your music by clicking on the designated buttons via the face or front side of your unit.

A great value for the money, Plays DVD’s, CD’s, SD Memory card slot, AM/FM radio, and Bluetooth for your cell phone too! This in-dash car stereo offers a good value for your money, with a DVD player and Bluetooth added its a real deal! It even has a video-in port for a back-up camera! To connect a back-up camera you’ll need to wire the video switch wiring to your back-up lights, this sends a power signal telling the system to switch over the the video feed from your back-up camera. For safety reasons another wire must be connect to your parking brake warning light, this prevent video from playing from the head…

Pleased with the easy installation and use I have changed my car stereo twice in the past few months so I have gotten really good at it. This was extremely easy to switch out, even though I was confused by the lines coming out the back. The difference is that these are more clearly labeled than others are. I am not sure that the speakers are connected properly but will wait until it THAWS out to crawl around in the car to figure it out. I need to replace the speakers, anyway.Bluetooth makes a huge difference in quality…
