ATTENTION: All of those who receive product that is “DOA” and it doesn’t work read this… Apparently the manufacturer of this product thinks that RED = ground and BLACK = positive. I checked the source voltage of my car’s rearview mirror with my Fluke DMM and was sure that I had it correct. When I hooked up this little adapter, nothing. Did it twice. Thinking to myself, “self – this is probably a write off as I already cut the wires to length”…. I tried reversing the RED and BLACK wires…what do you know…it works. So somewhere, someone screwed up at the…

Works with Mobius. Better than most other hard wire kits out there. I wanted to hard-wire Mobius as a dashcam in my crossover. I first tried which is one of the only that advertises as being Mobius-compatible even though just about any mini-USB hard wire should work. The only feature that led me to Spy Tec’s kit was the auto-shut off feature that protected car’s battery. I was looking for the same feature but couldn’t find in other hard wire kits, until I found this HitCar…

I’m powering a bluetooth receiver, which is plugged into my aux input. You can also order a 90 degree connector, for a very professional installation. My aux input is in my glove box. Turns out there is a light in my glovebox, which is powered only when the key is on. So I was able to pull the light, wire the inverter…
