    No problems so far, tested loads up to 2100w … No problems so far, tested loads up to 2100w for short busts and takes it in stride, 2000w continuous no problem. I am using this for camping and PA speakers/subs. It *IS* noisier than a Y*mah* or H*nda, but hey, it was half the price. As for protecting the primer bulb from rot, I made a “flap” of tape to shield it from UV light. I try to do this whenever I can. I’ll keep this review up to date as the genset gets older, 15 hours or so on it now and still trucking.Update…

    Do not buy Follow up – August 23rd, 2010:Generac finally replaced my leaking unit. Hours of work on my part. The new unit idles quite different. On normal mode it idles significantly lower and flucuates up and down. In the economy mode, it simply idles even lower. The first unit seemed to idle normal (who knows) or high. In economy mode it flucuated up and down as stated in the manual. The electrical outlets are different. The first unit had commercial 120v outlets – one plug vertical, one…
