Escort Direct Wire SmartCord (Blue Light)

This accessory offers two very useful features, making it the ultimate in convenience. First of all it allows you to hard wire your Escort radar detector directly into your car, eliminating the need for a cigarette lighter plug. The genuine Escort cord offers the very popular SmartCord MuteDisplay module. This module can be mounted anywhere inside your car and provides a power-on indicator, an alert lamp that warns you of radar and laser, and a convenient mute button! It’s the perfect addition for any car when reaching the detector’s mute button on the windshield is a stretch. Also, for discreet night driving, put your Escort detector in the dark mode, and use the SmartCord MuteDisplay for visual alerts. Other drivers won’t know you have a detector. This model of the Direct Wire SmartCord features a blue power light on the lighter plug. Works with the following models: Passport 9500i, Passport 8500 X50, Solo S2, Passport 7500S, Passport 8500, Passport 7500, and Passport 6800.
