    A good inverter for the price This is not the inverter you’d buy if you were looking to have a pseudo-backup-generator (something like would be better for that).     Good buy I’m an electronics engineer and I liked this product. I bench tested it with heavy loads. It consumed more current during Idle than I had expected, but on the whole it’s a good product. I REALLY like how it recovers on it’s own. If it gets a load that’s too much, it shuts itself down, beeps at you a little bit, then tries to recover and start again. Not sure any of the other units I tested, did this – Nice feature. You have to transition from the cigarette lighter plug and use the battery…

    Dead upon startup I bought this product based on some of the more positive reviews. I regret it now. This device was dead within 10 minutes of opening the package. I attached it directly to a fully-charged car battery that I had in my basement using the short battery cables provided (not the cigarette lighter connector).
