    Does not seem to block out UV light (Update 7-17… Bought a UV meter and UV detecting beads. See my comment below in replies)I bought 10 of these for two trailers I use on a ranch. I wanted to reduce UV exposure to the tires in order to prolong the life of the tires.The covers fit perfectly and have held onto the tires with strong and gusty winds we have here BUT I don’t think these covers do any good keeping the UV light from damaging the tires. Sunlight goes right through the covers (I bought white)…

    Sizing wrong AND don’t cover to ground The covers have a good quality construction, but they don’t fit well. My tires measure 26.25″ in diameter, so I purchased the 24 – 26 1/2 inch size. They are very snug and difficult to install. After about 10 minutes of stretching, peeling off and re-installing, I was able to get the top pulled down fully against the tire. That’s 10 minutes each, times 4 tires. They are tight as a drum.After all that struggling, I was disappointed that they don’t cover to the ground. There is 4″…

I live on the eastern plains of Colorado … The covers arrived and I placed them over the trailer tires to make sure they fit and the fit was very nice. I live on the eastern plains of Colorado were it is very windy at times. I do not believe these covers will stay on in the wind without some kind of strap attached to the bottom portion of the cover. I intend to sew on some straps with side snap buckles to help hold them in place. Even if they do come off they will not blow away as the straps will secure them around the axels. The…
