    Works only from battery – updated Item appeared fine until plugged into the car charger; when it powers up the only option is MASS STORAGE mode. This is normally the mode when plugged into a PC. The only way to record is to use the battery only which defeats the purpose of a dash cam. If you plug the cord in after it starts recording on the battery, it will power from the car charger, however the screen will never blackout, even if set to 3 minutes. This makes it illegal to use because of the video distracting the driver…
